Tasks for April 13 to 20th

April 13 to April 20


Please try to have these tasks accomplished by Monday, April 20, 2020.  
You can do them in any order that you would like. The approximate time
to complete your assignments are listed to help you plan your week.



Language Arts / Socials / Science
Time 
3.5 hours
Journal entry Write a letter to spring!

Explain in your letter how excited you are for
Spring to start and how much you missed
Spring (unless you want it to stay winter forever,
then your letter will say different things!)
Tell Spring what you plan on doing: what you are looking
forward to; and what you missed the most. Don’t forget to end your
letter properly, like Sincerely, ______  or Your Friend _______

Reading 3 times in the week
Read Raz Kids, EPIC! (remember EPIC! only works during school hours),
an online book or a book you have at home.

20 minutes
each time
Words of the Week
Write the 6 words of the week into sentences.  Then as a challenge
see if you can use those 6 words in only 2 sentences.

Play Sight words games

Read aloud:   National Geographic kids on Robots  

Answer comprehension questions in Week 2 Robot Google Doc.

Watch the Real Life Robots video

Now you get to create your own imaginary robot using recycled
materials that you find around your house. You can now take a picture of your
robot and send it to your teacher if you like.

Play one or more of the math fact online practice games.
Some may not work on iPad but all should work on a laptop or computer.

Complete the math page that is in Google Classroom.
This is a review of adding and subtracting larger numbers. 
Please remember to start in the 1’s column then move to the
10’s column when you are adding. Also please answer the word
problems with a complete sentence. For Example; Dad made 39 pizzas in all.

Work on your assignment in Prodigy

Gaphing
Look at the graph and write 2 things the graph tells you.
For example which is the most? Which is the least? ____ is more than ____.
